After another long and frigid Manitoba winter, I am very happy to say that summer is here! It’s time to take off those winter tires, load up on sunscreen, pull out your swimsuits, and get ready for some warm summer fun! Despite the questionably cold spring weather and horrible flooding we’ve been seeing lately, the summer season couldn’t come soon enough! With the official start of the season on June 21^st, it’s the perfect time to get your summer activities planned.

We’ve had two hard years of Covid-19 pandemic restrictions and limited social gatherings, it is finally time to enjoy a “long hot summer” full of friends, family, and music. With public pools, sports events, socials, parties, reunions, and weddings back into full swing, summer 2022 is already looking amazing!

If you are looking for some outdoor adventure this summer, you won’t have to look too far. Manitoba is home to over 100,000 lakes, 92 Provincial Parks, and hundreds of walking trails that you can enjoy! Whether your plans include a trip to Grand Beach, a bike ride in Birds Hill Park, a backyard barbeque party, a family camping trip, or all the above, everything is always more fun with music!
